Color Solid 04:35
Temptations rise and I can't trace it They hate the light but they can't escape it. 10 x the size change from carbon black to carbon and I didn't take many tries to find what made them blind. I will not square away. The Story of Sound, Is not my problem. Take a look into the ground, it will not square away. What they want they haven't found, and most aren't trying. Color space, or color solid. They hate the points, they made the carbon. Common space, or common problem? They change their face, they make their problems. I will not square away. The Story of Sound: is not my problem. Take a look into the ground, it will not square away. What they want they haven't found, most aren't trying. The story is sound, it will not square away. Take a look onto the ground, most are leaving.

Pyrite 03:46
Where on earth can I hide it? Where on earth is the shade? much too brittle to replace it.. with what they made I lost my luster it's not as good as gold I lost my iron it's not as good as gold I lost my water it's not as good as wine I lost my water I lost my color it's not as good as luster I lost my iron it's not ass good as gold I lost my water it's not as good as wine I lost my alkaline. where on earth is the real one? Where on earth can I pass? Why on earth is this the only thing they ask of me? I lost my luster it's not as good as gold I lost my iron it's not as good as gold I lost my water it's not as good as wine I lost my water I lost my color it's not as good as luster I lost my iron it's not ass good as gold I lost my water it's not as good as wine I lost my alkaline.

Can you hear the labored sounds my voice makes 12 months blur to one day they bring in more scorpions with venom than honey or wisdom I've never made more than I should have by god my god, is this how the world is? I've seen the way that you hold your hands in mocking stigmata, while howling "respect me" once was enough once was enough the greener the former, the thicker the rough once was enough for love of life or for love of reason somehow I'm still breathing but hold your guns move them to the center it gets worse before it gets betters I've never made more than I could have, by god. my god, is this how the world ends? I've seen the way that they plot, position and poison the water in effort to mock me once was enough once was enough the greener the former, the thicker the rough once was enough

Out of all the many times i've been out in wild I never thought I would be a wildman If i'm going out like this Ill to go out in style But all the money that I spent wont save me from the elements I see, I’m underneath, a cast spell, life in hell I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it There’s a turned over ice cream truck in Dover, it nearly flipped I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it Do you wonder the thunder portends the apocalypse? There's a canopy around me and the suns going down A figure is lurking, the shadows envelop me I, looking for an way out but got turned around The stories of haunted woods have taken root, And the trees Are howling, in the wood is growling I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it There’s a turned over ice cream truck in Dover, it nearly flipped I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it Do you wonder the thunder portends the apocalypse? I just find a hollow log, portion of dry earth Thatll make a somewhat safe spot for me to make a bed The camp fires dying down, and i'm dying of thirst But morning is coming soon, I can see the Dawn ahead I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it There’s a turned over ice cream truck in Dover, it nearly flipped I want it over and done with and over and under and done with it Do you wonder the thunder portends the apocalypse?

I'm on the auction block again I'm on the pedestal again of laud and lecture and if my energy is free let my soul fly free of me and add a third dimension gravity won't hold me down anymore I'll leave with levity now I'm free gravity won't hold me down any more I'll break the law of tendency I'm on the auction block again to debate and to defend my third dimension gravity won't hold me down anymore I'll leave with levity now I'm free from earth gravity won't drag me down anymore I've the ability but, not the will gravity won't hold me down anymore I'll break the law of tendency now I'm three gravity won't hold me down anymore I've the ability But, I miss my bed

I woke up from a serious anatomy lesson and I had the idea you should never count your blessings unless you can only count to seven as I made up for a series of dry spells I had the idea, to create a toy person with chemicals I found toys it's been years of science breakthroughs lectures everyday I think I can say none of them have been improvements this only ends with my execution I found toys I found toys I found toys I found toys Did you say whore or horror? It doesn't matter anyway I think I found How they can both be in the story The first casualty of early mornings .

Of Nineveh 05:16
living our lives in nineveh drinking our weight in gasoline giving up on salvation bitter, biting with flies in our eyes peace on earth is not a dream of mine i'm still waiting for peace of mind is it the right choice, or just the only choice we have? piece of mind, or sleight of hand? soothing our skins with insect bites being fed off of by parasites growing our lives like reptiles bitter. peace on earth is not a dream of mine living on the edge of chaos when order is a human emotion salvation? -- my hands are tied. creation, with flies in our eyes, Peace on earth is not a dream of mine.

about

Originally recorded in 1998, "They Hate the Light But They Can't Escape It" was only available as a limited edition CD-R from 10x Records. It also served as a demo tape for Jared's Year of the Comet project. Demoed entirely by himself in New Castle, DE, these songs would go on to be performed by Year of the Comet and My Version of It.

The original master tapes were lost, so using artificial intelligence technology, Jared was able to create this remaster using the original 4-track cassette mixes. The original 5 song EP is presented here alongside 7 additional songs true to the time period.
